Optimizing logistics in Montana’s lacquering department

To enhance efficiency in its lacquering department, Montana implemented an advanced conveyor system. The automated solution reduces manual handling, ensures precise logistics, and optimizes the flow of workpieces through the finishing process.

What we delivered

The system consists of powered roller conveyors and two fully automated transfer carts. One cart transports stacks to designated buffer lanes for lacquering, while the other manages the infeed of workpieces and the return of empty carrier plates. An advanced control system automatically tracks and directs each stack, ensuring smooth transitions between lacquer colors and eliminating misplacements.

The result

With this automation, Montana has significantly increased throughput while reducing manual handling. The electronic control system prevents errors, ensuring the right workpieces are processed at the right time. Installed in record time, the solution has operated seamlessly from day one—allowing Montana to maintain precision and efficiency in its production.
