Ecolor, a leading Romanian furniture manufacturer and a subsidiary of Sweden’s Gyllensvaans Möbler, sought to optimize their production processes to handle growing demands.
With over 53,000 m² of production space, Ecolor produces high-quality furniture primarily for IKEA. To support their operations, Q-System delivered customized solutions to enhance efficiency and make the most of their available space.
What we delivered:
Q-System supplied and installed modular conveyor systems designed to optimize storage and handling. Key components included:
- Custom transfer cars with roller conveyors and lifts, enabling operators to stack goods at heights of 300 mm, 2,230 mm, and 4,380 mm, maximizing vertical space utilization.
- Six operator-controlled transfer cars, four featuring dual lifting tables with roller conveyors and two with single roller conveyors, allowing seamless movement of goods between operational levels.
Our solutions were tailored to meet Ecolor’s specific requirements, supporting efficient stacking, storage, and internal logistics. The systems not only increased productivity but also improved ergonomics and operational flow.
