The new core
unwinder, which can of course handle all core roll widths and core
types, comes with a rewind function making it much easier to handle
the rolls and store the mattress cores once a roll has been opened.
The
core unwinder is with a retain guard which will keep the roll
compressed while cores are being dispensed. In return mode the
unwinder will run the opposite way hereby winding the paper tightly
around the roll which can finally be sealed with tape. In this way
it is still possible to store 2 rolls on a pallet instead of having
to keep the remaining cores of a roll in a stack.
Additionally, the in-feed of a new roll is powered meaning that the
operator will not have to manually handle the heavy roll; it is
unwound automatically once it is placed in the machine.
Through our Dutch
partner, Integrated Logistic Systems (ILS), we have just handed-over
a pallet handling system to the company of Hegron, which is a
manufacturer of a variety of hair and body care products.
Hegron has just
built a new warehouse next to the existing building. The problem
was, however, that there is a road between the existing building and
the new warehouse.
No More Lifting and Strenuous Manual Handling of
Heavy Items
Throughout industry and no more so than in furniture production the
new safety regulations covering repetitive and heavy lifts during
the day have caused concern.
How to protect the health and safety of the employees when wrapping
and shipping cabinets while at the same time maintaining efficiency.
The solution to this has now been found and implemented jointly by
JKE Design and Q-System: a conveyor line which eliminates both the
many daily lifts and the strenuous manual handling of high and heavy
cabinets.

ware-house.
New conveyor plant from Q-System is the logistic key
in Montana's
new spraying department
Q-System sells high quality, individuality and creativity in its
handling solutions
– and the possibility of adding to the conveyor systems. This is
probably why Montana chose Q-System to supply the handling system
required to streamline
Montana's spraying department and, not
least, improve the working environment.
